Installation includes checking the existing subfloor, moisture barrier where required, underlay, skirting or beading, and clearing the debris afterwards.

Which floor survives a Mumbai monsoon?
Water is the deciding factor. Laminate is excellent value and looks convincing, but standing water at a plank joint will swell the core — keep it out of kitchens and utility areas unless it is a water-resistant grade. SPC and luxury vinyl are dimensionally stable when wet, which is why they have taken over kitchens and children's rooms.
Engineered wood is the premium option and behaves far better than solid wood in humidity because of its cross-layered core, but it still deserves a dry room. Carpet is wonderful in an air-conditioned bedroom and a bad idea in a room that stays shut and damp.

Flooring is quoted per square foot of finished area. Always confirm whether a quote includes underlay, skirting and old-floor removal — that is usually where two quotes differ.

Questions
Flooring questions we are asked most
Yes — laminate, SPC and vinyl planks are floating floors and can be laid directly over sound, level tiles with an underlay. It saves demolition cost and dust. We check the level first; badly uneven tiles need a skim.
SPC or luxury vinyl planks. They are fully water resistant, easy to mop and dimensionally stable in humidity. Laminate is best kept to bedrooms and living rooms unless it is a water-resistant grade.
A 500 sq ft flat typically takes three to five days including skirting. Rooms can be done one at a time if you are living in the house.
AC4 and AC5 grades handle heavy household traffic and scratch well. For homes with large dogs, SPC is the safer choice because it resists claw marks and moisture together.
We can, and we quote it separately so you can decide. Removing old carpet or vinyl is quick; breaking tile is dusty and adds a day.
Sweep or vacuum regularly, mop with a barely damp cloth and a pH-neutral cleaner, and never let water stand. Felt pads under furniture prevent most visible damage.
